The Meaning of the First IChing Hexagram - Force

This hexagram has a very dual energy of both highs and lows. The yin and yang. It shows us that “the low” is just as important as “the high” in your most authentic self-expression. The power represented by hexagram one is to be interpreted in a dual sense in terms of its action on the universe and of its action on the world of men. Be careful even if there are no reasons. Any good hides danger and any danger hides good. Everything is dual. In relation to the human world, it denotes the creative action of the holy man or sage, of the ruler or leader of men, who through his power awakens and develops their higher nature.
