According to Chinese tradition, knowing the symbolic or spiritual meaning of an animal can lead us to understand a hidden message of life. Recently I came across spiders wherever I turned. I felt it was the universe trying to tell me something. Oh, Boy was I right!
My Journey On Understanding The Arachnid Spider;
One night while I was dreaming It felt like I had spiders crawling all over my legs. Of course this startled me and I woke up. I was scared who wants spiders crawling all over them? The next morning, I sat down, and while doing my normal meditation, the spider appeared again, I could feel the spider as an archetypal energy as it enveloped my body. The Spider was trying to speak to me; I then remembered my dream and realized it wanted me to take a deeper look into its meaning.
I then discovered it was a sign my higher self was guiding me toward a deeper understanding of my purpose in this life, and to never give up.
Spiders are among the most patient and long-suffering of all animals. They carefully weave a web and then wait for their prey to come to them. Each strand of Spider’s web connects to another, creating a whole, safe space in which you can feed your spirit. Spider knows, however, that anything worth doing is worth doing correctly. You cannot rush enlightenment. Reawakening your soul’s knowledge of the Great Mysteries can truly become a lifetime pilgrimage.
The spider has the ability to weave its creative web to manifest a person's dreams. Remember, to a Spider, its web is its ‘world.’ When Spider appears to you, maybe the time has come for you to see yourself as the center of your own world. We are the makers of our own destinies. Most webs are round-ish spirals that unite at a central point. In this, Spider webs are mandalas that you can use to meditate on the core themes and situations of your life. As the center, focus on what you truly want.
Once we understand ourselves, we can truly begin manifesting our reality.
The spider reminds us to be patient, and with this patience, we will be rewarded for all our hard work. In my personal life, I started noticing all these new opportunities coming to me. I then realized I had been weaving my web, creating my dreams my entire life. The spider taught me with patience, belief in yourself, and perseverance that you can bring things to fruition. I noticed there seemed to be a new phase in my life, It was time for me to start creating something new, go deep into the burrows of my soul, to start sharing my heart more with the written word. I had a creative spark I needed to share, it was asking me to be vulnerable, to move forward to uncharted waters, to bare my soul, and to conquer my fears.
Spiders Are The Weavers of the Written Word or Alphabet
I had also been recently contemplating writing, then discovered in my research that the spider is the weaver of the alphabet. This took me down another road of self discovery surrounding the spider.
It is said that the spider created the alphabet and is the mother of the written word. There is no better companion to welcome to your home to help you wield your words on paper. What more is a story than the creation of a new reality?The Spider shows you Your creativity is at its peak. Explore new projects and ideas that are in balance with your dreams of the future.
In spinning a web, a spider literally weaves a new plane of existence, an entirely new world. This world can be flat, round, linear or circular. It all depends on what species of spider you are watching. Each has their own unique weaving style. What is the signature of the species you watch now? What does this mean about the paths you have available?

Think about the amount of trust it takes to cast that strand and not know. Let go of control. Face the fears that cause you to try and be in control. Know that there is no such thing as control.
